Hello everyone,

Below please find  announcements for two events:

-an art show in Edmonton on Sunday, October 16th, which will include
works by two members of our Latvian community

-information about art prizes offered by the Canadian Latvian Artists’
Society LATVIS. Deadline for application is November 30th.

The Edmonton Latvian Society IMANTA will be celebrating Latvian
Independence day on Saturday, November 19th, 2016 at the same great location
as last year.  Mark your calendars.  Details to follow.

Latvian language lessons for adults began last week. Please contact
Egons by text/phone at 780-710-2946 if you missed this and would like to
attend.
