Spring Tea and other Actvities

Come join us Sunday, April 22, 2018 12:30 p.m. for tea and music at Laurier Community Hall, 14405 85 Ave. NW in Edmonton.

Daiga Stube on piano and her daughter Anna Štube on the violin will be performing a selection of popular melodies.  This will also wonderful opportunity to meet our Latvian Ambassador Kārlis Eihenbaums and his wife Ināra Eihenbauma who are visiting.  Come out and enjoy an afternoon together with us! Admission by donation to support this young violinist who has often been referred to as a child prodigy. She has performed in numerous national major competitions to great acclaim!

Coffee, tea and desserts will be provided. There is a park outside for children to enjoy.

In other news, plans for our annual Ligo celebration are underway. This year we have booked a facility north east of Edmonton, near the town of Fort Saskatchewan. Overnight camping will be allowed – tents, trailers, or motorhomes.  Save the dates – June 23 – 24th, 2018. Details will be announced later at a later date.
