The board members of Imanta  extend our sincere gratitude to all the volunteers and participants who helped us  have such a wonderful Līgo celebration this year!! Without you this wouldn’t be possible!! Hello all, Līgo/Jāni is almost here! Please send an rsvp to our email by Thursday night if you plan on attending.  We would like to know who is coming and how many are attending (as this helps us plan for supper) and if you need a camping spot for tent or motorhome. Camping spots are limited!! 

This year we have booked a facility approximately 43 km NE of Edmonton – Partridge Hill Community Hall, 22002 Township Road 542, Fort Saskatchewan, AB. located on the corner of RR 220 and Twp. Road 542 (Strathcona County) south-east of Ft. Saskatchewan (just west of Hwy. 830). Link below for map. May 5, this year on Saturday, is the perfect time to continue celebrating Latvia and its hundred years with a healthy and fun sports activity! “Jog Latvia in the World” is the activity that invites you to create a jogging, walking or biking route resembling the geographic shape of Latvia around your town or city with the help of your favourite sports app. The distance does not matter – it is all about the contour and the fun! You can share your route in the social networks with your friends, family members and neighbours, using the hashtag #izskrienLatviju, and invite them to participate also. Let’s all jog Latvia in the world together!
